The mirror has 37 PZT actuators forming a hexagonal grid with 6.9 mm pitch. Free actuator stroke is approximately 7 µm, the stroke difference between the neighbor actuators reaches 2 µm.
The mirror is driven by a 40-ch HV amplifier unit, controlled from a computer USB port via a 40-ch 12-bit USB DAC module.
